The green apple bear is a variety of Indian jujube that has its origins in Thailand. It resembles and has a similar taste to apples, hence the name. This shrub has a dense growth habit and grows quickly, producing fruits within the first year of planting. The fruits are both sweet and crunchy, much like apples, and can range in weight from 60 to 150 grams. Unlike other varieties, this tree is thornless and blooms twice a year.
